Privacy Policy

Pocketsheet ("we") is a personal finance app available on Android and at app.pocketsheet.uk. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Your financial data

Your accounts, transactions, loans, budgets and receipts are stored on your device and, when you connect Google, in a Google Sheet and a receipts folder in your own Google Drive. We do not receive, store or have access to the contents of your sheet or receipts on our servers.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google we request one permission: drive.file ("See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app"). The app uses it only to create and sync the Pocketsheet spreadsheet and receipt images, and to find that spreadsheet again when you sign in on another device. It cannot see any other file in your Drive.

Pocketsheet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, and no human reads it except with your explicit permission.

Account information we keep

To run sign-in and support we store, with Google Firebase: your email address, name, a user id, app version, platform, last sync time and sync status or error messages, and any note or message our support team attaches to your account. Support staff cannot see your financial data.

Permissions on your device

Notifications (loan and due-date reminders), camera and photos (only when you attach a receipt), and the network. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Google (sign-in, Drive, Sheets) and Firebase process data as our service providers. The reminder messages you send to people who owe you are opened in your own messaging app; Pocketsheet never sends messages for you.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays in your Drive until you delete it. You can disconnect Google in the app and revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete the account information we keep, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.

Children

Pocketsheet is not directed to children under 13.
